Guided Tours at Dillinger are intended for customers as well as general visitors provided that a guide is available. In order to coordinate external and internal appointments, the maximum lead time for general visitors to request appointments is 3 months in advance.

Please complete the online form below and press the button „Send“ at the end of the form to transmit your request. Subsequently, an automatic confirmation email will be sent to you. If you do not receive an automatic confirmation email, your request for a guided plant tour was not sent to us.

Plant tours can be offered Mondays through Fridays. On weekends and public holidays, plant tours can be made available only by way of exception.

Comments Costs and Vehicle
Visitors are required to provide a single vehicle, i.e. a bus with enough space for all visitors and a Dillinger Guide. As the area of the plant in Dillingen is 2 square miles, the vehicle of the visitors will be used to go to different view points. Guided tours at Dillinger are free of charge. Guided plant tours for external visitors can only be offered if a Dillinger Guide is available.

Safety
Visitors are required to provide a single vehicle, i.e. a bus with enough space for all visitors and a Dillinger Guide in order to go to different view points within the plant site (2 sq miles). Using several smaller vehicles that trail each other is prohibited. All visitors must wear long pants as well as shoes that provide high ankle support. All visitors must be at least 16 years of age and must be able to walk longer distances. A typical plant tour involves walking for three quarters of a mile. Access to our plants is not barrier-free. Visitors who have pace makers, insulin pumps or other medical implants are prohibited from participating in plant tours at Dillinger. Visitors who suffer from fear of heights or vertigo are prohibited from participating in plant tours at Dillinger. Further safety instructions are available in the brochure below.
