The strengths of DILLINAL proprietary steel
- DILLINAL 460/630 is our proprietary steel developed specially for transport tanks and has defined enhanced tensile strength and special extra low-temperature toughness. Toughness down to -40° C has been verified for DILLINAL 460/630 NL.
- DILLINAL 460/630 is a normalising-annealed fine-grained structural steel which has properties not only equal but actually superior to those specified in EN 10028, Part 3. It can be used under the widely applied codes of practice anywhere in the world.
- Its workability properties are also convincing – DILLINAL 460/630 can be easily hot or cold formed, flame-cut and welded.
- Depending on the particular design, the use of DILLINAL reduces tank weight by up to 10 %. Payload weight naturally increases correspondingly.
